WHO I AM
I've always loved creating—whether it’s sewing, cross-stitch, jewelry making, or blending essential oils. The joy of crafting something by hand has always been a part of who I am.
My passion for natural ingredients led me to explore essential oils, massage, and homemade skincare. In my 20’s, I studied massage and was fascinated by anatomy and physiology. Decades later, that curiosity never faded and I revisited my studies in anatomy and physiology in my 50’s, deepening my understanding of how the body and skin evolve over time.
It was also in my 50’s that I took an interest in making my own makeup, and that curiosity led me down the path of skincare formulation. I loved and was fascinated by the chemistry behind it, and suddenly, a whole new world opened up for me. Since then, I haven’t looked back!
I went on to formally study skincare formulation, earning certificates with distinction in Formulation Skills and Organic Skincare Formulation, as well as a Diploma in Advanced Cosmetic Chemistry.
As I delved deeper, I also noticed something else - many women over 50 felt a little lost. This stage of life brings big changes, and for some, confidence, direction, and even a sense of self had faded. We’ve spent decades raising families, building careers, and managing responsibilities, often putting ourselves last. But now? Now, we finally have the freedom to redefine what life looks like for us.
I wanted Tall Tui to address not just the physical aspects of aging - diminishing fine lines, restoring hydration, and giving us that healthy, natural glow - but also to redefine beauty, confidence, and self-care for women over 50. To encourage you to see yourself in a new light. To rediscover your creativity, passion, and purpose.
This is our time. We have the wisdom, the experience, and the freedom to shape the years ahead in ways that truly fulfill us. We just need to take the first step.
My dream is for Tall Tui to be the first choice for women over 50 (and maybe even those under 50!), but beyond that, I want it to be a champion for this stage of life—a space where we support, uplift, and inspire each other to step forward with confidence and joy.
Because beauty isn’t about looking younger. It’s about redefining what it means to glow - at every age.

You can't look 30 when you're 50 but you can absolutely be your own kind of beautiful.
This era of women is not about stepping back, not receding and saying, "I've had my time". Our era is about, "you haven't seen the last of me yet, there's more to come".
The age on your face is your trophy. It signifies life lived, experiences gained, wisdom not understood by youth. It signifies that you're still here, when some of our friends are not.
Tall Tui is about having the healthiest, glowiest skin at any age.
It's about taking a moment out of your day that is just for you - just for you. Don't feel guilty about that for a heartbeat.
When your skin looks good, you feel good. When you feel good, you have confidence. With confidence, you can do anything!
